“We intend to make positive contributions to the overall future of Blair County by creating bonds and relationships within these communities that will lead to more creative and efficient solutions within them all. We can learn from each other and use the lessons to grow. But that is only one part of the picture.
My life goal has been to establish a music center in Altoona that will help nurture, guide and protect musicians of all types throughout all aspects of the musical creative process – a community environment where the creative process is able to thrive, and a place where someone can take lessons and then practice those lessons and then collaborate with others to perform the results.
If we properly harnessed and supported the amazing talent I’ve seen over the years in this area, I believe 100% that we could use that as a resource to put Altoona, PA on people’s radar.”

Mission Statement
The Blair County Business, Art & Music Association builds and strengthens relationships between the musicians, artists and businesses of Blair County and leverages those relationships to attract and retain engaged citizens interested in contributing to the growth and celebration of a vibrant community that celebrates its history, values its current offerings, and sees hope in its future.
Other organizations we support
With all the struggles in the world, we need to support each other whenever possible.
The overall goal of the Blair County Business, Artist and Musician Association is to provide opportunities for these communities to work together for the betterment of the area. However, the BC-BAM intends to create opportunities in a few other ways.
We will be raising funds to create a music center for the people of the area looking to learn more about music. It will provide instruction in a wide range of musical subjects and serve as a creative and collaborative hub for anyone looking to be part of a community of artistic minds.

Redd Up Altoona Foundation
The Redd Up Altoona Foundation’s mission is to empower friends, family, and neighbors to be the change they want to see in the world and take pride in their community, through public space improvement projects.
Kid Careers
Finding a truly inspiring career can be challenging, and without proper motivation, it is easy to become apathetic toward finding the career that satisfies you on a deeper level. Kid Careers aims to help kids begin to discover the career options that match the aptitudes and interests they naturally have.
